GOLD AND GOLD PLATING
Dust jewelry with a soft cloth to remove dust and restore shine. Store it in its original pouch to avoid scratches and tarnishing. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairsprays, bug repellents, and other sprays, as well as lotions, creams, and skin care products.
Remove your jewelry before exercise, including swimming. Sweat and chlorine can cause the gold plating to tarnish. Do not use jewelry cleaners, silver cleaners, or other cleaners on your gold products.
Our hand-felted items are hand wash only and should not be put in the washing machine. If spot-cleaning with cold water does not remove dirt or stains, try dipping the item in warm water with mild soap or shampoo, gently massage the item, and rinse it, also in warm water.
When you are not using your hand-felted items, we recommend storing them in an airtight bag to keep them safe of insects and moths. For extra security and freshness, try adding a small sachet of lavender (a natural moth repellant) to the sealed bag.
